Micrococcus luteus

This bacteria was discovered in a 120-million-year-old block of amber. This goes to show that they can survive in oligotrophic environments (places with little nutrients). Great to grow anywhere— especially pollution ridden cities. It should have to trouble residing in factory exhausts or cattle farms.

M. luteus is the perfect bacteria for our plan

M. luteus is a harmless bacteria found in nature. Its genome has already been sequenced so it is possible to modify its DNA.
