Current BAN-R Technology

Non-flowing Laser Scattering Method for Blood Cell Count

Latest Spectroscopy technology is a noninvasive blood cell count method

Non-flowing laser scattering method

If red blood cell count is detected to fall below 3.4-9.6 billion cells/L, Erythropoietin (EPO) (10 mU/mL-10,000 mU/mL) is released, stimulating production via the activation of the JAK2 signaling cascade, STAT5, PIK3, and MAPK pathways.

How is spectroscopy used in Cancer BAN-R?

Red Blood Cell Restoration

If white blood cell count is detected to fall below 3.4-9.6 billion cells/L, myeloid growth factors are released in 10 mU/mL-10,000 mU/mL

White Blood Cell Restoration

How does Spectroscopy work?

A portable optical device images white blood cells via CO-oximetry, occlusion spectroscopy, and subsequent video analysis

Optical absorption gaps in blood cell flow are determined to identify red and white blood cell count
