Current BAN-R Technology

CRISPR Gene Editing Technology

Latest CRISPR technology will ensure proper restoration of nerve function

TARGETED GENOME EDITING WITH CRISPR

How is CRISPR used in Cancer BAN-R?

Eed gene deletion via CRISPR prevents acetylation of the H3k27me histone, allowing for the function of nerve regenerating genes.

Targeting stem cell activator Prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) with CRISPR may also allow for neuron regeneration, as PGE2 is an activator of the Wnt signaling pathway and stimulates cAMP/PKA activity.

How does CRISPR work?

Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats(CRISPR)-Cas9 is made up of a guide RNA sequence and a Cas9 enzyme

The "guide" RNA sequence binds to the target DNA sequence

Cas9 enzyme cuts the designated gene
