 Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence is on the forefront of modern technology and has allowed software to reach past a variety new bounds. We envision this technology being harnessed through our ETM via a network that will make smarter decisions each use, and access facial recognition and other imaging technology in order to quickly make an assessment. Our ETM will greatly benefit with the advent of machine learning, as the system will then have the ability to be trained to a certain extent because of which it will be able to make better suited decisions. Although such technology is not currently accessible to us, with it we would be able to develop an extremely efficient machine that would be extremely knowledgeable. Machine learning would be integrated into the data analysis system which would make it possible for the fastest results to be received.

Decision making in mental health support is not a simple black or white nature. Instead, the analysis depends on inputs in a number of dimensions. Moreover, the decisions and analysis keeps evolving with new research and data provided by researchers and professionals. This is not easily feasible by a simple decision tree type of analysis used in conventional computational algorithms within the time constraints in which the decisions have to be made. Since these are also often life or death situations which demand ethically appropriate decision, we always have depended upon a human mental health professionals. Due to this highly sensitive and complex needs of mental health assistance, we  rarely consider the mental health dimension rigorously while providing emergency health care response or while developing emergency health care protocols. Therefore, The ETM uses a learning machine which uses artificial intelligence to suggest the most appropriate action protocol to a human being based on the inputs provided by a human being. The important role of The ETM is to circumvent the need of highly trained professional to provide Mental Health Emergency Response and make this an integral part of emergency health response.
