Polychiral MWCNT Solar Cells

The field of renewable energy has evolved drastically, especially since the Oil Crisis of 1973, spurring research regarding renewable technology. Over time, as solar energy is becoming increasingly mainstream, development into its potential continues to increase rapidly. Research in the solar technology field has allowed scientists to store and convert energy into usable forms.

Similarly, carbon nanotubes (CNTs), a very recent discovery, have provided researchers with a new method of conducting nanotechnology. Nanotubes’ implementation in different technologies, including solar cells, could theoretically lead to better performance and efficiency in the future.
