Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a developmental disorder that affects a person's behavior. It is characterized by a persistent pattern of inattention, persistent forgetfulness, hyperactivity, and/or impulsivity that can interfere with daily life. In most cases, ADHD starts in childhood but does not go away with age/time. It is estimated that 7 million (11.4%) U.S. children aged 3–17 years have ever been diagnosed with ADHD, according to a national survey of parents using data from 2022.


ADHD medication
ADHD medication, such as stimulants and non-stimulants, helps manage symptoms like inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. Stimulants increase brain chemicals that improve focus, while non-stimulants may be prescribed for those who don’t respond well to stimulants.

Limitations:
​Medications have serious side effects (insomnia, sleep issues and loss of appetite leading to weight loss).

The WatchMinder is a wearable device specifically designed to help individuals with ADHD manage their time and stay on task. It offers customizable vibration alerts that can remind users to focus, take breaks, or switch between activities. The small vibrations are non-distracting, making it easier to stay organized without the need for noisy alarms.
Limitations:
WatchMinder only sends reminders and are not are not efficiently managing ADHD and its other aspects.
Behaviour therapy
Behavioral therapy for ADHD helps individuals develop practical strategies to manage symptoms like impulsivity, inattention, and hyperactivity. It involves setting specific goals, creating structured routines, and using positive reinforcement to encourage desired behaviors. For children, it often includes working with parents and teachers to create consistent expectations. This therapy is effective in improving focus, reducing disruptive behaviors, and teaching long-term coping strategies

Involves addressing emotions, kid may experience anxiety or feel emotionally uncomfortable.
