Our proposal is to use wireless mini electroencephalograph (EEG) leads placed near the frontal lobe to measure and transmit brain signals to an ADHD Buddy watch.The watch will utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology to decode these signals and predict behaviors or reactions. 

The ADHD Buddy watch will feature a mini scanner or camera that can scan food barcodes or take pictures to check against the USDA database, ensuring that the child avoids foods that may worsen ADHD symptoms. This innovative feature requires a breakthrough as it has never been used previously in any other watches.

Research has showed that processed foods including sugar, caffeine and sugary drinks can cause energy spikes, crashes and interfere with sleep leading to increased hyperactivity, inattention and may increase anxiety. Also, certain food additives may exacerbate ADHD symptoms.

Based on the detected brain activity, the watch will offer behavioral tools like mindfulness exercises and soothing music to help calm the child during stressful situations. A breakthrough is needed to ensure accurate signal capture and effective emotional regulation through these methods.
