Our Idea:

The “Smart Sock” is a one-of-a-kind sock which can diagnose and provide treatment in real-time.

 

This sock uses embedded sensors to analyze the way you walk and detect any abnormalities. It collects data and transfers it to a Central Processing Unit, which uses AI technology to analyze and provide medical professionals with enough information for an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. The plan includes use of self inflating pads and real-time electrical muscle stimulation to correct gait difficulties, muscle weakness and prevent falls.

 

The Smart Sock has a breathable “smart fabric” which makes it easy to put on and takes the shape of your leg for support. This sock will be chargeable through a resonant magnetic wireless power transfer. It will also be linked to an app that will give real-time feedback, while showing the progress along the way!
