Impacts
By using PEC lenses it will give people with photosensitive epilepsy the ability to continue their everyday activities without the constant worry of experiencing a seizure. It allows them to enjoy more social events such as attending concerts, watching movies with flashing lights, going to nightclubs, or any other instance where they can be provoked by bright lights. Our contact lenses will also help keep the wearer safe if they are triggered in a difficult place, such as if they were driving. The darkening of the lenses and the warning they receive from the device after it has determined whether a seizure is probable, will give the user enough time to pull over and call an emergency contact. Or if the warning states it is at high risk, the driver can pull over and be prepared for a seizure to occur. This will prevent a car accident from occurring and possibly any deaths resulting from the accident. We aim to make a comfortable treatment option that will protect our clients from harmful light and combat seizures.
PEC lenses will also be available to anyone who is affected by these problems and cannot afford or do not feel comfortable with the risks of other therapies at an affordable cost. Our treatment will include the contacts, the device, and a contact lens case.
