FUTURE TECHNOLOGY

One part of Robo-Police will be to have a scanner.

HOW THE SCANNER WORKS:

The scanner is in the middle of the eyes. It scans because it doesn't know if the person is a bad person or not. If a bad person is in the school, someone will see them and press a big red button. The button will send out an alarm. Robo-Police will hear the alarm and come find the bad person.

The scanner on Robo-Police will also have a metal detector. It will have the ability to detect if a bad person has anything on them that is made out of metal. Examples: A knife or gun made out of metal.

The Robo-Police scanner will have facial recognition. Robo-Police will look at a person's eyes, nose, mouth, jaw and forehead. Robo-Police will put all that information into it's computer. Robo-Police's computer will be connected with the police database so it can see if someone it looks at is a bad person.

If it’s a practice lockdown, the Robo-Police will practice, too, and they will practice with a cardboard person.  So they will be prepared for a real lockdown.  If it’s a real lockdown, they will do the same thing we told you about, except they won’t use a cardboard person.

SPEAKER TECHNOLOGY:

The speakers give Robo-Police the ability to talk.  New speaker technology needs to be invented to make it cheaper for all Robo-Police to have enough speakers.

Energy Technology:

What needs to be invented is new kind of wireless electricity charging technology. Robo-Police will get it's energy through antennas so they don't have to worry about running out of power when they're working. When Robo-Police isn't working, it can be charging from anywhere in the school. We want them to be able to finish their job and not run out of power in the middle of it.
