OptoLight
Optogenetics in OptoLight
OptoLight bypasses the failures of current vision-restoration technologies through the single injection of an advanced viral vector containing:
-
opsin ChrimsonR
-
the novel genetically engineered multi-effector SNAG-mGluR2 and LiGluR combination therapies.
Together, these produce a wide wavelength absorption spectrum ideal for vision restoration.
Our state-of-the-art glasses contain a neuromorphic camera capable of detecting color, capturing meticulous images of users' surroundings, and detecting pixel-by-pixel changes in light intensity.
A small processing unit directly next to the camera encodes for a visual stream of light images that will be projected into the optogenetically-transduced retinas, activating ChrimsonR, SNAG-mGluR2, and LiGluR and enabling users to begin their new light-filled lives.
