INTRODUCING AURALENS
OUR DEVICE
AuraLens is a smart contact lens system designed to predict and prevent migraines before symptoms begin.
The system consists of two main components:
-
The Smart Contact Lens
-
The Mobile Application
Both components are connected through low-power Bluetooth communication, allowing for continuous, real-time monitoring and analysis.

Normal Lens vs Our Lens
AuraLens provides continuous, non-invasive monitoring throughout the day. It has Micro-optical sensors that detect subtle retinal changes in real time. Nanowires transmit electrical signals across the lens. A nanochip processes and sends data. Data is wirelessly transmitted to your phone via Bluetooth. This creates a complete, real-time picture of ocular and neurovascular activity which is something no current technology can provide.

New Technology
AuraLens is designed for efficient, long-term use without bulky hardware:
-
Micro-photovoltaic layers convert ambient light into energy
-
A microbattery supports low-light and nighttime use
This dual system ensures the lens remains functional throughout the day and night.

Contact Lenses
AuraLens utilizes ultra-thin, biocompatible contact lenses embedded with micro-optical biosensors to monitor early migraine indicators directly from the eye.
The lens continuously tracks retinal blood flow, microvascular oxygenation, and levels ocular pressure changes
These signals are scientifically linked to neurovascular changes that occur before a migraine begins.
THE MOBILE APPLICATION
The AuraLens app is where detection becomes prediction.
The app uses a machine learning model called LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory) to analyze incoming data over time. It compares real-time data to your personal baseline, detects subtle patterns leading up to a migraine, filters out normal changes (stress, movement, light exposure), and continuously improves accuracy with use. This allows AuraLens to deliver personalized, real-time migraine predictions. When early warning signs are detected, the app sends instant alerts to your phone, recommends preventative actions (medication, rest, low-light environment), and allows users to log symptoms and triggers. Over time, the system becomes more accurate, helping users reduce frequency and severity of migraines.
