The problem

Every year, 11 million people worldwide suffer serious severe burns, and up to 70% develop scars that limit movement, cause discomfort, and affect confidence. Current treatments rely on painful weekly injections into damaged tissue, and 40% of patients quit due to the pain, often leaving permanent scars. Beyond physical damage, survivors avoid social situations, cover up constantly, and struggle with confidence and relationships.Care is also fragmented across multiple visits, with debridement, grafts, and drug delivery treated separately.

Helping burn survivors overcome the physical pain of treatment and the emotional weight of visible scarring for all.

Our Mission

  • 11M people in a year people suffer severe burns

  • 40% quit treatment due to painful injections

  • Most burn victims undergo expensive, fragmented care with multiple required visits.

The Problem with AI Today:

  • AI wound analysis often relies on limited datasets, lacking representation of diverse skin tones.

  • This leads to inaccurate assessments, especially when detecting inflammation across different skin types.

  • Current systems are passive – they analyze wounds but do not connect directly to treatment.
