Right now there are children who  can not go to school because of their diseases. So some use a monitor to go to school, but the monitor is like a camera on wheels. Kids do not interact with it like a normal child. With CLARI technology the child will get a real feel for the outside world, We believe that children will interact with the robot like a child if it looks realistic enough and every child deserves a chance at a good relationship.

For CLARI to happen we need sensors to improve, to really simulate the feeling of touch. We also need a way for it to be affordable to families who have the sick child.
