BREAKTHROUGH

To make this device a reality, several breakthroughs must occur:

1. Nano-Aerosol Technology: We need to create very fine, controllable medication droplets that can be absorbed through skin.

2. Transdermal Micro-Pumps: Miniaturized pumps must deliver medication directly into the bloodstream through the skin in precise doses.

3. AI Predictive Models: We require large amounts of medical data to train AI for accurate, early detection of asthma flare-ups.

One breakthrough that requires investigation is the transdermal micro-pump system. Researchers need to investigate:

• How effectively does medication cross the skin barrier?

• The time it takes for medicine to reduce asthma symptoms compared to traditional inhalers?

• The safety of repeated, small-dose deliveries?

We will collect data to see how well the medicine goes through the skin and into the body. We will also check how fast it helps with asthma symptoms compared to regular inhalers. Another important thing to study is whether using small doses over and over is safe. We’ll look at any side effects, how well the device works, and if people find it easy to use.
