Nebulizers: What Are They, Really?

Nebulizers operate by generating a stream of compressed air, which is then passed through the rest of the chamber. After that, the air mixes with the medication, and is forced through an exit. This results in tiny droplets of medicine which can be inhaled. Our invention includes a chamber small enough to fit on a bracelet that can nebulize a dose of medicine. Additionally, the medicine chamber will be refillable, ensuring long lasting use of our product.

01

The capsule of medicine opens inside of the device

03

Needle-sized holes further nebulize the medicine, turning it into a fine mist

02

The medicine, along with forced air, is pushed through vibrating ultra-fine mesh

04

The process is complete, the medicine exits the device and is inhaled by the user

The mechanism: The device is breath-actuated, meaning it works when the user inhales through the mouthpiece. The medicine is then released from the capsule and passes through the battery-powered vibrating mesh and microscopic holes and out the mouthpiece. From there it is vaporized and inhaled.
